If you are paying attention to the spiritual climate of our country, you know that we are in uncharted waters.  It seems as though Satan has taken off his mask and is bombarding our nation with unprecedented evil.  Recent news stories are showing us the spiritual warfare taking place for our children.  Recently, a wicked and evil book has been added to many public school libraries.  The book is entitled Gender Queer: A Memoir published by Lion Forge Comics (currently ranked no.11 on Amazon’t LGBTQ book list).  A mom in New Kingstown, Rhode Island discovered this wicked book that is not only targeting the souls of our children with transgender identity confusion, but goes so far as to portray pornographic images and gay sex acts.. After posting pictures of this book on social media, she then filed a police report with the New Kingstown Police Department for distribution of pornographic material.  This has gotten the public’s attention, and thankfully the school board in Orlando, Florida has removed the work from their public school libraries, but how many more schools are offering this sinister book?

We are living in an upside down world.  This is not a time for Christians to complain.  This is a time for Christians to act.  Isaiah 5:20 paints the picture of this perverse generation.  “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”

Satan is coming hard and fast for the souls of our children.  The Lord has both the Holy Spirit and the Church to restrain his evil.  Will you engage in protecting our children and restraining Satan’s agenda?

The future of our children is the responsibility of the Church.  Whether you have children or not, or perhaps your children are grown and out of the house, this issue deserves the attention, social engagement, and fervent praying of every born again believer.  As the FBI labels parents who are currently challenging school boards and the agendas of wicked people, the Church cannot afford to be silent and watch as things play out.  Long gone are the days of democrat vs. republican, blue vs. red, or conservative vs. liberal.  We are in a new chapter of American history where today’s battle is light vs. darkness, good vs. evil.  This is why Isaiah 5:20 is a word of caution to our generation.
