An Explosion of Knowledge
The Bible says in Daniel 12:4, “But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
A Moral Decay
2 Timothy 3:1-5 says, “Godlessness in the Last Days But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.”
Scoffers
2 Peter 3:3 predicts, “Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires.”
Globalization
At the Tower of Babel, God’s command was for people to scatter. Satan has always wanted people not to scatter so he can have control & influence. Satan is the master of globalization. Decades ago, it was unthinkable that one man (The Antichrist) could control the global economy through the Mark of the Beast, today with the global tracking systems like GPS & RFID Chips, it is not unimaginable now.
Nuclear Warfare
Zechariah 14:12 predicts, “And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples that wage war against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.”
9 countries possess a total of 15,000 nuclear weapons.
Natural Disasters
Matthew 24:6-8 says, “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.”
Preaching of the Gospel
Matthew 24:15 says, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
Persecution
2 Timothy 3:13, “all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” Matthew 24:9 says, ““Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.”
